There is one Korean café appears on the stage together with Korean boom among many Filipino youngsters. Café ‘Noriter’ is franchised from Korea and finally launched last January 2010 in Manila as the first branch in the Philippines. They are offering over 20 menus which were uniquely created by Ms. Kim, the owner of café ‘Noriter’ manila branch. “Menus preferred in the Philippines are quite different from that of in Korea, so, I came up with my own menus” Ms. Kim said.

Recommended menus according to the customers are pat-bing-soo which is Korean halo-halo together with honey bread. Especially, pat-bing-su is offered as almost same as what cafes in Korea are offering those days. Various fruits together with Korean red beans on the top shaved ice with a scoop of ice cream named as a perfect menu to enjoy whole day chatting with your friends. And, honey bread which is offered with extremely soft whipped cream on the top of wheat bread with caramel syrup will make your break more enjoyable.

What makes café ‘Noriter’ more unique and special is the events they run for their customers. All around the café, there are many paper cups which has its own design. It is because there is a paper cup design competition that will leave winners with a free treat. And, they also have coupon policy- every seven purchase of coffees, there is one free cup of coffee.

According to Ms. Kim they are on the process of installing free wifi for the café right now. Then, the students will be able to spend their time more comfortably surrounded by Korean atmosphere.
